My name is Agata Malicka-Torchała. I am a CBT psychologist and psychotherapist. I completed a four-year holistic training in cognitive behavioral therapy at the Center for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in Warsaw. I have been working for ten years, helping people experiencing domestic violence, going through various life crises, struggling with job loss and addictions.
In my therapeutic work, it is crucial for me to have an individual and empathetic approach to the patient, as well as to create a safe relationship based on respect and trust. I believe that such a relationship is an essential part of the process of improving my patients’ quality of life.
In my psychotherapy practice, I work individually with adults who are struggling with a variety of problems, such as lowered mood, depressive thoughts, experiencing traumas and crises, experiencing violence in relationships or trying to break free from such relationships.
I also help people who are experiencing anxiety, emotional difficulties, stress management problems or lowered self-esteem. I use cognitive-behavioral techniques in my work.
