My name is Anna Puzio-Smyk and I am a certified psychologist and cognitive-behavioral psychotherapist undergoing specialized holistic training at the CBT-EDU School of Psychotherapy in Warsaw. I graduated with a master’s degree in psychology from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, and I also have a degree in pedagogy.
In my work, I focus on an individual approach to the patient and building a therapeutic relationship based on empathy and trust, which promotes the process of change and development. I work therapeutically with both children, adolescents and adults. I also provide consultations for parents.
In my therapeutic work I combine the classical cognitive-behavioral approach
with techniques of schema therapy and dialectical-behavioral therapy (DBT).

I gained my professional experience working, among others, at the Mental Health Clinic, Specialized Clinics and doing my internship at the 1st Clinic of Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Early Intervention in Lublin. For many years, I also provided therapy for people on the autism spectrum and consultations for parents.
In order to provide professional psychological assistance, I systematically improve my professional qualifications by participating in various trainings and courses.
