My name is Marta Cich. I am a psychologist with clinical specialty and a cognitive-behavioral psychotherapist in the process of certification. I completed postgraduate studies in Applied Behavior Analysis at SWPS University, and am currently completing my 4th year of the School of Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy at the Academy of Motivation and Education, recommended by Polish Association for Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy.
I firmly believe that everyone has the ability to overcome difficulties and make changes in their lives. I accompany my clients in the process of increasing self-awareness and support them in creating the life they want to live.
In my work, I apply schema therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and elements of dialectical-behavioral therapy. In psychotherapy, the most important thing for me is a relationship based on cooperation and authenticity – these are my priorities.
I gained my professional experience in the Community Self-Help Home Type A for the chronically mentally ill, the Day Psychiatric Ward of Bielański Hospital, and the Center for Psychotherapy “Bez granic” (“Without Borders”). My work is subject to regular supervision; I constantly improve my qualifications by participating in trainings and conferences.
